There is no let up in the cold wave in Kashmir Valley. Freezing snow and water on roads are making them slippery. The day had become cold due to icy cold winds. The minimum temperature in Srinagar had improved a little and was minus four point eight (4.8) last night. The Met Office has predicted light rain and snow in next 24 hours. In view of the incidents due to slippery road conditions, the authorities have appealed the drivers to drive slowly and pedestrians were also asked to take extra care while walking on roads.
