In Bihar there is no let up in flood situation. According to Central Water Commissions Kosi ,Bagmati, and Gandak rivers are flowing above danger marks. Surging water of these rivers is engulfing new areas. AIR patna correspondent reports that low lying areas of West Champaran, Darbhanga, Saharasa and Supaul dstricts of the state have been submerged. Rising water level in rivers is putting pressure on embankments Patrolling has been intensified on embankments to meet any eventuality. Engineers have been directed to be ready with necessary equipment and boulders to face any situation and protect the embankments, Jawans of National Disaster Response Force ( NDRF) have been sent in flood affected areas for relief work. Chief Minister Nitish kumar took stock of the flood situation and directed officials to remain extra vigilant.
