Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tiwari has said the government has no intention to change the broadcasting policy. Addressing the employees of the public broadcaster AIR on his visit to the Broadcasting House in New Delhi today, he urged them to work together to carry on its golden journey to new heights. The minister said efforts of AIR needs to be in consonance with the changing times.
Mr.Tiwari said AIR lends voice to crores of people in the country and the neighbouring countries connected with it. He said community radio stations will provide a competitive landscape to the public broadcaster.
