The government has said that there have been no instances of incursions by Chinese troops into Indian territory. In his reply in Lok Sabha yesterday, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said, there is no commonly delineated Line of Control Actual Control (LAC) between India and China and due to both sides undertaking patrolling upto their perception of the LAC, transgressions do occur. There are areas along the border including areas in Ladakh where India and China have differing perception of LAC.<br/><br/>Regarding construction activities in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, the Defence Minister said, Government has seen such reports and has conveyed its concerns to China about their activities and asked them to cease such activities.<br/><br/>Government regularly takes up any transgression along LAC with the Chinese side through established mechanisms including Flag meetings, Border Personnel meetings, meetings of Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on India-China Border Affairs and diplomatic channels.<br/><br/>On infiltration by terrorist in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Parrikar said, 18 terrorists have infiltrated successfully upto 31st of march this year. The number was 33 in 2015.
