The Jammu and Kashmir Police have ruled out any influence of Islamic State in Kashmir valley in the wake of terror attacks claimed by the global terror outfit in Paris. Director General of State Police K Rajendra Kumar told reporters on the side lines of a meeting in Kishtwar yesterday that the rate of infiltration from Pakistan has decreased remarkably and there was also a decline in militancy related activities in the State. While chairing a meeting to review law and order situation of the twin districts of Kishtwar and Doda of Jammu region, the DGP stressed police that besides fighting against terrorism, the force should ensure better public deliverance and rule of law.
