In Jammu & Kashmir, there is no indication of any clear date for the formation of new coalition govt as yet even as PDP announced its decision to continue alliance with its coalition partner BJP. The announcement of PDP had set all speculations to rest on the formation of new government and the continuation of PDP-BJP- tie-up in the state. <br/><br/>PDP in its first formal core group meeting headed by PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday discussed overall political situation of the state in the backdrop of the demise of former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who passed away on January 07. Mufti's demise led to the collapse of coalition government as the alliance partners PDP and BJP did not introduce Mufti's substitute in stipulated time. The Governor rule in the state was imposed with effect from January 8.
