West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra says, there will not be increase in the passenger’s fare in private transport in the festive session. He said in Kolkata that this will bring another hardship to commonmen. Mitra appealed to the private bus owoners to withdraw their proposed strike from 9th of this month. He said that Government will take stern action if any attempt is taken to disturb the transport system.The Joint Council of Bus Syndicate has called indefinite strike from next Tuesday demanding hike in passenger’s fare after recent increase of disel prices.
