<span style="color: #222222;">The Assam Government said that no illegal persons would be included in the National Register of Citizens, NRC list. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Replying to a question in the first day of the four-day State Assembly Session today, Industry and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary said that, the State Government has already made its stand clear on the NRC. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that no genuine citizens to be left out and no name of illegal resident to be included in the NRC. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Patowary said that the State Government favoured 20 per cent verification of NRC list in the districts neighbouring Bangladesh and 10 per cent verification in other districts.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Patowary said that the State Government is committed to fulfill all the clauses of the Assam Accord. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further said that despite a section of people opposed the Citizenship Amendment Act, not a single Bangladeshi minority citizen came to any of the 26 thousand villages in Assam. </span><br />
