AIR correspondent reports, no fresh case of Novel Corona Virus disease has been detected in Manipur and the lone patient admitted at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) is recovering and expected to discharge very soon. The first patient of COVID-19 in Manipur was detected in 24th March in Imphal after a 23 year old person who had returned from England was found positive of the disease. She is getting treatment at the Isolation Ward of JNIMS hospital currently.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to AIR News, Director of JNIMS Prof. Th. Bhimo Singh said, the patient has recovered and healthy now. She has no fever and teams of specialist doctors from JNIMS and Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Imphal has been monitoring her condition. If her condition is further improved, she will be discharge from hospital with due process. Yesterday, 5 suspected samples were also tested and all were found negative. So far in Manipur, only one person is found positive of COVID-19, he said.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Isolation Ward at JNIMS hospital has also increased. Another 80 bed were added. Moreover, State Government has also instructed all private hospital to prepare for any eventuality and those suspected person and who had returned from outside the state has been kept at Quarantine facilities in the concerned districts. Meanwhile, the State Government has started distribution of essential commodities to the public across the state. A price list of selected grocery items were also announced yesterday and appeal all concerned authorities to comply the price list. Some local NGOs also started distribution of grocery items and vegetable to the public who are suffering shortage of food items after the nationwide lockdown.</span><br />
