The Central Bureau of Investigation has ruled out any foul play in the death of former Union Minister Gopinath Munde. Official sources confirmed this to AIR yesterday.

The agency was entrusted with the responsibility of probing the reasons behind the death of Munde after demands from a number of senior BJP leaders who suspected foul play in the accident.

Munde died on 3rd of June this year after his car was hit by another vehicle in the heart of the national capital.

Munde was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International airport when the accident took place.
