No evidence of firing found from outside ISRO's Deep Space Network Campus: Dr. Acharya

In a reply to Legislative Council, Karnataka Home Minister Dr V S Acharya has candidly said that there is no evidence found of firing from outside the Deep Space Network Campus of ISRO in Byalalu near Bangalore on Tuesday. <br/><br/>The CISF Guard Jadhav, manning the main gate of ISRO campus, had stated that he retaliated when two of the intruders fired at the centre yesterday early morning at 3.30 am. The Home Minister in his reply said CISF guard opened eight rounds of fire into air following apprehension that some intruders were approaching the main gate. <br/><br/>Six empty shells of the fired bullet were found in the shootout locality. No trace of firing from the intruder was found from the preliminary investigation, he said. <br/><br/>Senior Officers including A R Infant, Additional Director General(Law and Order) have visited the spot and the investigation is on, the Home minister added. Reacting to this the Janatha Dal(S) leader in the Council, Nannaiah expressed anguish and said there is contradictory statement from the Government and ISRO on the incident.<br/><br/> Since this is a serious matter, Nannaiah asserted that Government should carefully deal with the matter. <br/><br/>Home Minister in his answer said Central Government will be sent a report on the incident in which it will be mentioned that there is no corroborative evidence of firing from the intruders.
