No evidence found of murder, rape in Badaun sisters case: CBI

CBI has found no evidence of murder or sexual assault in its probe into the death of two girls in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. A senior CBI official had said that the Medical Board has come to conclusion that sexual assault on either of the victims appeared doubtful. The agency is likely to file its final report in Badaun court tomorrow.

CBI had already decided not to file a charge-sheet against the five persons arrested by Uttar Pradesh police in connection with alleged gangrape and murder of the two teenage cousins in Katra village. Their bodies were found hanging from a tree.
