No development in Bihar because of NDA: Rahul Gandhi

In Bihar, stalwarts of different political parties have intensified their campaigning in those areas where the first phase of polling scheduled to take place on 21st of this month.While addressing election rallies at Katihar Araria, and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi alleged that there has been no development in Bihar because the NDA government in the state had indulged in dividing the people on the caste and religion basis. Gandhi said that the congress is fighting alone in the assembly elections for the development and welfare of all sections of society particularly future of youths.Rahul Gandhi said that the central government has provided one lakh crores of rupees for the various developmental project of Bihar but the people of the state are being deprived of the welfare schemes for which huge money was provided.On the other hand addressing election meetings in Darbhanga BJP President Nitin Gadkari accused the Congress and RJD for doing nothing for the development of Bihar and claimed that people of the state tasted the fruits of development for the first time only during the NDA rule in the state. Gadkari said during RJD regime there was misrule in the sate and the Congress is only claiming in the name of development.AIR Correspondent K. K. Lal reports from Darbhanga that BSP Supremo Mayawati. Jharkhand Chief minister Arjun Munda, JD( U) President Sharad yadav , RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav and LJP President Ram Vilas Paswan also addressed election meetings in favour of their party candidates.
