There is no decision yet on the consolidation of Public sector banks, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said. Speaking on the sidelines of a book release function in New Delhi today, Mr. Mukherjee said that if there is any decision on the issue, it will be on the floor of the House. Earlier, The Reserve Bank of India had said that the time for consolidation of banks has not come. He had said that financial inclusion is more important than bank consolidation. Mr. Mukherjee released a book on Energy Security and Climate Change written by former Power Secretary R V Shahi.
