Government has not taken any decision to prepare the National Register of Indian Citizens at the national level so far. This was stated by Minister of State for Home, Nityanand Rai in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. He said, the supplementary list of inclusions and exclusions for NRC, Assam have been published in  August 2019 on the direction of the Supreme Court.<br />
