Railway Ministry today clarified that there is no decision to close the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers at Jamalpur. In an official release the Ministry said, the institute will continue as a Centralised Training Institute to trained Mechanical Engineers and other officers of the Indian Railways.
