Minister of State for Labour and Employment Rameswar Teli today informed the Lok Sabha that no decision has been taken to increase the minimum pension under the Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 from 1,000 rupees to 2,000 rupees per month as recommended by the High Empowered Monitoring Committee.<br />''<br />''In a written reply, he said the government has implemented a recommendation regarding the restoration to normal pension after completion of 15 years from the date of such commutation, in respect of those members who availed the benefit of commutation of pension under the scheme on or before the 25th of September 2008.<br />''<br />''<br />
