The Assam government has said that there is no dearth of funds to help flood affected people.<br />''<br />''Talking to AIR, Revenue and Disaster Management minister Jogen Mohan said that Rs. 102 crore had been given to the district administrations to provide food items.<br />''<br />''The Minister said that SDRF and NDRF along with local administration are carrying out relief and rescue measures.<br />''<br />''He also said that 14,000  Pratirodhi Bondhu are also extending support to affected people.<br />''<br />''Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited the flood and erosion affected Gohinpara area in Barpeta district.<br />''<br />''Mr. Sonowal said that the Centre would take up the matter with neighboring Bhutan from where floodwaters come down every year to cause havoc in the state. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister also visited a flood relief camp and interacted with the inmates. 25 lakh people are affected in 24 districts due to the flood.</span>
