Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today said, there are several inputs and leads regarding floating objects during search operation about the missing AN-32 plane of IAF with 29 people onboard, but there is no concrete evidence so far. Making a statement in the both houses of Parliament, he said the search efforts are focused on the surface as well as the underwater area to look for survivors and debris of the aircraft.<br/><br/>Giving details of the incident, Mr. Parrikar said the search for the missing plane is being supplemented by the use of indigenous satellites which have the ability to cover wide areas and have a high resolution. The Minister said all next of kin of the crew and passengers on board have been informed and regular updates on the search operations are being given to them by nominated officials. He said the officers from the closest units have gone and personally met the next of kin.
