India says there has been no change so far in the US policy on H1-B visa. On a query, MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said in New Delhi this evening that India has already conveyed its concerns to the US authorities. <br/><br/>He was responding to media reports that half a million H1-B visa holders Indians will have to return back to India if the US changes its visa policy.<br/><br/>Asked about the first high level meeting between North and South Koreas after December 2015, on Tuesday, the spokesperson said, India supports efforts to bring about peace, stability, reconciliation, de-nuclearization and reunification of Korean peninsula through dialogue and diplomacy. <br/><br/>He hoped that the engagement between the two sides will help in reducing tensions and pave the way for brining lasting peace and reconciliation in the Korean peninsula. <br/><br/>Mr Kumar said, India also believes that any solution to the Korean peninsula must also take in to account and address concerns about the proliferation linkages of north Korea's nuclear and missile programme.<br/><br/>On alleged banning of diplomats and officials from entry in Gurudwaras in Canada and the US, Mr Kumar said, India does not take cognizance of fringe elements which spread hate and communal disharmony. <br/><br/>He said, the vast majority of the Sikh community in Canada and other parts of the world share a very warm emotional bond with India and have worked for the betterment of bilateral relations between their country of residence and India.
