No booth capturing in seat: Amethi DM on charges by AAP's Kumar Vishwas

The district administration in Amethi has denied AAP accusation that Congress workers were indulging in booth capturing in the prestigious seat. District Magistrate Jagat Raj Tripathi denied the charges, reports PTI.

AAP candidate Kumar Vishwas on Twitter alleged that information about large scale booth capturing, fake voting and intimidation of workers is coming from various places but the observers and district administration are not taking any action on complaints which are being sent through phone, email and SMSes.

However, the District Magistrate said that no such complaint has been found correct and added that polling is going on smoothly.

The seat is witnessing a fierce battle between Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, BJP's Smriti Irani and AAP's Kumar Vishwas among others.
