<span style="color: #222222;">Government today said that there is no ban on use of diesel agriculture pumps in the National Capital Region. <br />''<br />''In a statement, Environment Ministry said it has come to notice that some unscrupulous elements have been spreading the message among farmers in the NCR that use of diesel agriculture pumps have been banned by the National Green Tribunal, NGT. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">They are also apparently harassing the farmers and forcing them to buy new pumps. The Ministry clarified that the NGT order relates to ban on diesel vehicles and not to agriculture pumps using diesel.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry has asked all the State Governments and the enforcement agencies to make sure that such misinformation campaign should not be allowed to continue. It has also asked to ensure that farmers are not harassed.</span>
