Civil Aviation Minister Vyalar Ravi today said that there is no question of giving bailout packages to private sector airlines. He was responding to questions on giving a possible package to the troubled Kingfisher airlines. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr. Vyalar Ravi said that since the government has no say in the management of private sector airlines, it cannot use taxpayers money to bail them out. He however added that the Government is looking into the problems of the Aviation industry in totality.
