No attempt by centre for out of court settlement of Ayodhya issue

The centre says that it has not made any attempt for out of Court Settlement of the disputed structure at Ayodhya after the Allahabad High Court judgement of 30th September. This information was given by the Minister of State for Home Ajay Maken in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today. He said that in compliance with directions of the Supreme Court and Special Bench of the Allahabad High Court at Lucknow, the Central Government is obliged to maintain the status-quo at the Ram Janam Bhoomi-Babri Masjid Complex at Ayodhya for a period of 3 months from the date of the pronouncement of the judgement. He informed the House that centre is not a party to any of the title suits.
