The advantage of the bin is that it does not dot the area and also prevents foul smell.<br />''<br />''Emboldened after being ranked first municipal corporation in the state and third in the country in the Swachh Survekshan 2020 for garbage free municipality, the Navi Mumbai Municipal  Corporation has been coming up with innovative ideas to keep the city neat and clean. These two underground garbage bins installed at the vantage points, one such being the Palm beach road that connects Mumbai to its satellite city of Navi Mumbai. The bins have a foot dispenser through which one can open the bin and throw the garbage in it. As the bins are placed well inside the surface, it does not pollute the area and also keep the surroundings clean. According to the municipal authorities the step taken by the civic body is to bag the coveted number one spot in Swachh Survekshan in the future.</span><br />
