Senior JD (U) leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said he and the RJD supremo Lalu Prasad will stick together to keep BJP away from power in Bihar in 2015 assembly elections. Kumar said this at an election rally for by-polls addressed jointly with the RJD supremo at Chapra on Sunday.
By-polls are to be held in 10 assembly seats in the state on August 21.
Kumar said that he had parted ways with Lalu Prasad 20 years ago due to differences on certain issues but this time they will stay together.
Charging the Modi government at the Centre with being arrogant, Kumar said the grand alliance of the RJD, JD(U) and Congress will give contain BJP from Bihar.
Lalu Prasad rued that the secular forces lost the general elections due to division of votes, but said no such mistake will be committed this time as the three major parties RJD, JD(U) and Congress have come together to stop BJP.
