Nitish Kumar to seek vote of confidence on June 19

Heading the eight-year-old coalition in the state, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that they were not satisfied with the new development that occurred in BJP. He said that he will seek a vote of confidence at a special session of the State Assembly on June 19. He said that they were not satisfied with the new development that occurred in BJP.
Kumar said the Governor D Y Patil has been urged to call the special session. He said that he has also recommended to the Governor to remove all the 11 BJP Ministers from his cabinet. Kumar drove to Raj Bhawan after he had a meeting with JD(U) leaders at his residence. Earlier, Mr. Kumar held an emergency cabinet meeting. All BJP Ministers abstained.

Now all eyes on for the Special Session of Bihar Assembly to be held on 19th of this month. JDU need support of at least 122 MLAs in the 243 member of Bihar assembly. The party has 118 members in the state assembly. Now, JDU is entirely relying on the 6 Independent members to continue their rule in the state.
