Nitish Kumar to be sworn- in 2nd time as CM of Bihar

Nitish Kumar will take oath of office of the Chief Minister of Bihar today second time in row. AIR Patna correspondent reports that Sushil Kumar Modi will take oath as a Deputy chief Minister. Some other members of NDA will also take oath. The oath ceremony will be held at the historic Gandhi Maidan in state capital Patna at 2.30 PM. The Governor Devanand Konwar will administer oath of office and secrecy to Nitish Kumar and his cabinet colleagues . Mr Kumar was yesterday unanimously elected leader of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of newly elected legislators of NDA at Patna . Besides the JD (U) National President Sharad Yadav, BJP leaders Arun Jaitely, Ananth Kumar and Dharmendra Pradhan were also present in the meeting.Earlier, the newly elected legislators of BJP and JD ( U ) held separate meetings. BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi was re-elected as leader of the legislative party.The JDU – BJP combine has notched a spectacular tally of 206 seats in the 243-member House. JD (U) alone won 115 seats while BJP bagged 91 seats.
