Refuting charges of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said there has been significant improvement in road and health sectors in the state. Mr.Kumar said in Patna that over 66,500 km roads have been constructed and several bridges were built during his government. <br/><br/>He reiterated that he would continue to request the centre to give special status to Bihar. Mr.Kumar said, once the special status is given to Bihar, the state will get concession in Central Taxes and there will be investment in the state and youth will get employment opportunities.<br/><br/>Earlier, in a tweet ,Mr. Nitish Kumar said a special package is not a demand but it is a right.<br/><br/>Lalu Prasad Yadav also reacted sharply to PM's announcement of Bihar package. He said Prime Minister has promised to give special status to Bihar but he had announced a special package for the state. He said there is a difference between a special package and a special status to Bihar.
