Nitish hits at Centre over NIT Srinagar incident

Strongly condemning police lathicharge on outstation students in NIT Srinagar, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today slammed the Central government over the incident saying it reflected its double standards. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in Patna today, he said the Central government should make its stand on the episode clear. The Bihar CM demanded expeditious action from the Union government in the issue.<br/><br/>There are many students from Bihar also at NIT Srinagar and the state government was talking to Jammu and Kashmir government for providing proper security to them, he said.
