Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari has stressed the need to make Khadi designs more trendy and modern. He said this should be done without compromising with tradition to maximize the production and sale and make it a global brand.
Addressing a Brainstorming Session in New Delhi yesterday to discuss the modalities on the proposal to establish National Design and Product Development Centres in the country, Mr Gadkari said, there is a need to make Khadi attractive for the youth of the country.
