Nitin Gadkari lays foundation stones of 25 National Highway Projects in Jammu

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari laid the  Foundation Stones of  25 National Highway Projects of total Length of 257 kilometres with an investment of 11,721 crore rupees in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today. On the occasion Gadkari said that he has seen how the people of this hilly area have suffered on account of the worst  condition of the roads .He said that if Jammu & Kashmir has to progress and prosper then we have to ensure that basic facilities are provided.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' He further said that the Modi Government has prepared a roadmap for the development of J&K.He said that in the next two years we are starting road highway projects worth Rs. One lakh crore. Upon completion these projects will provide all-weather connectivity between Jammu and Kashmir valley.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />'' Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Dr Jitendra Singh and Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma were present on the occasion.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />'' Lt. Governor  Manoj Sinha extended his gratitude to Central Government and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning several road  highway projects for Jammu and Kashmir Union territory. Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of 25 National Highway Projects by Nitin Gadkari in Doda  today,  Lt. Governor  said that these projects will help in development of the  Union Territory and at the same time will provide employment opportunities to thousands of unemployed youth of the region.</span><br />''
