Nitin Gadkari announces Rs 1,000 crore grant to Jharkhand for road constructions

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said, there will be a big boost for rural economy as the Centre is working for developing the villages as sources of alternative fuels to existing vehicle fuels from the left over of rice crops.<br/><br/>The Union Minister for Surface Transport, Highways and Shipping was speaking at the inaugural and foundation laying ceremony of various infrastructure projects worth 5,500 crore rupees at Ranchi in Jharkhand today. He said, present BJP-led Government is working for development with best of intentions and capacity and corruption is absolutely unacceptable in the present Union and State Government. <br/><br/>Mr. Gadkari also announced to give further grant of 1,000 crore rupees in road constructions to Jharkhand and accepted many of the proposals on additional road constructions submitted by the Chief Minister Raghuwar Das on this occasion.<br/><br/>The Jharkhand Chief Minister listed the measures adopted by the State Government to curb corruption at various levels during the span of 1000 days of his government. The projects for which foundation stones were laid today include nine Highways and some other infrastructure projects while Chas -Bokaro Highway was also inaugurated.
