If you don't have toilet in your house you can not contest in elections, this is one of the recommendations of NITI Ayog's Chief Ministers Sub-Group on Swachh Bharat Mission headed by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.<br/><br/>Chief Ministers Sub-Group today met in NITI Ayog, Delhi. The meeting was attended by 6 Chief Ministers from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharastra, Uttarakhand, Mizoram and Haryana. It is 4th meeting of the sub group. Previous three meetings were held at Delhi, Chandigarh & Bengaluru. The sub committee will submit its recommendations on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to Prime Minister. <br/><br/>The other important recommendations include, to achieve Swachh Bharat goals with in 5 years, providing financial assistance of 15,000 rupees to construct toilets, and imposing of special cess on mineral wealth, petroleum and telecommunication products, to overcome the finance constrains. Sub group also recommended to celebrate one day in every month as Swachh Bharat day at local level and a week as Swachh Bharat week on national level.
