Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao is scheduled to visit Dahaka on Saturday. During her two day visit to Bangladesh she will call on the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the leader of opposition Khaleda, Foreign Minsiter Dipu Moni and also to hold discussions with her Bangladesh counterpart. This the first visit of Nirupama Rao to Bangladesh after taking over as Foreign Secretary and she comes again in the back drop of the up coming visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to India next month. The visit is expected to focus on preparing grounds for signing various treaties during Sheikh Hasina visit to Delhi.
