<span style="color: #222222;">Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has assured Kodagu in Karnataka of all assistance in rebuilding the region ravaged by flood and landslides. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She has assured that Central assistance will be given according to the guidelines of the Disaster Response Fund. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Saying that she will speak to the Prime Minister and Home minister about it, she also informed that she will speak to Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari to pitch in for the development of infrastructure in the district.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to media persons in Kodagu district headquarters Madakeri today the Defence minister said that one crore rupees will be given from MPLAD from her side. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She offered to send Indian Army's Border Roads Organisation task force to advise the administration on building roads in hilly terrain. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier in the day, the Defence Minister visited Kushalnagar and Madapura and interacted with the persons affected by flood and landslides.</span>
