Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Nirmala Sitharaman, announced a new National Institute of Design (NID) campus in Rajasthan. While addressing Valedictory Session of Resurgent Rajasthan in Jaipur today Mrs. Sitharaman said this institute will address the technology design needs that arise from increased industrialization and the growth of technology-intensive industries in the state. <br/><br/>She said, initially it will be a satellite centre for the NID campus in Ahmedabad. Later, this institute will provide undergraduate and post graduate courses. Union Minster said ministry will give 3 percent interest subvention to exports to exports from small and medium industries.<br/><br/>Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, in her valedictory address, said, "I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support and for nurturing ecosystem of strong, empowered states. She said job creation is one the 3 pillars of the Rajasthan Model of Development, the other two being Social Justice and Effective Governance.
