Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitaraman has called for measures to increase exports of manufactured products. She gave away awards for outstanding exporters from the Madras Export Processing Zone in Chennai yesterday. <br/><br/>In her address, she said services sector exports from the zone has registered impressive growth though manufacturing industry is struggling to keep pace. She asked for identifying causes for the slow pace of manufacturing sector and promised to take remedial measures for giving it a boost.
