In Jammu and Kashmir, at least nine policemen were injured in a powerful landmine blast near Sopore police station in North Kashmir on Wednesday morning. Quoting Police sources, our Baramulla correspondent reports that the militants hurled a grenade towards the Police Station at 9.00 a.m. which was followed by a huge land mine blast. Police said four of the nine injured policemen are in a critical condition and have been referred to Srinagar hospital. The police have launched a man haunt operation in Arampura area of Sopore.
