<br/>In Assam, nine people were killed and at least 13 others injured on Wednesday in three separate road accidents. Six people were killed while six others were injured when a Tata Sumo turned turtle at Doyangmukh in Karbi Anglong. The vehicle was en route from Lanka in Nowgaon to Umrangsu in North Cachar hill district. The injured have been admitted to the Hojai civil hospital in a critical condition.<br/><br/>While another road accident took place at Ganipur, Doboka of the state, two people were killed and 7 were hurt in the incident.<br/><br/>In the third incident, a car met with accident at Naobaisa in Lakhimpur district in the early hour on Wednesday killing one occupant of the car on the spot.
