In a two phase joint operation with the Central Reserve Police Force and Bihar police, the 16th batallion of SSB nabbed a total of 9 active Naxals from Jamui district of Bihar yesterday. <br/><br/>The nabbed include two naxals involved in Sukma killings. A pipe bomb, steel container bomb and an electronic detonator with 5 kg of IED was also recovered.<br/><br/>According to the preliminary interrogation, two among the nine naxals namely Sunil Marandi and Toppa Hasda alias Sonam Hasda were involved in the killing of 25 CRPF jawans at Sukma last April, while the others were wanted in several murder cases.<br/><br/>Yesterday, security forces arrested 18 maoists from Sukma district of Bastar in Chhattisgarh.
