In Andhra Pradesh, 9 persons were killed and 5 injured when a loaded lorry collided with an autoriksha at Varadayapalem near Maidukur of Kadapa district this morning. <br/><br/>Seven persons, all of them daily labourers, died on the spot while two later succumbed to their injuries at the Proddutur hospital. <br/><br/>Police said, the deceased belonged to Maidukur Mandal and were traveling in the autoriksha when the lorry carrying iron ore collided with it. <br/><br/>Relief measures are underway.<br/>
