Nine killed in Maoists attack in Jamui district of Bihar

In Bihar at least nine people were killed in a maoist attack in Jamui district of the state in wee hours on Thursday. The incident happened in Phulwaria- Korasi village of the district. The casualties may increase as police are searching bodies. AIR correspondent reports that over 150 maoist equipped with sophisticated weapons attacked the village shouting slogans against government to protest police action against them. Maoist blew up several houses of the village by using dynamite and torched e thatched houses. Police officials have reached on the spot and a massive combing operation is on to nab the maoist.<br/>
