Two days of unrest in the Democratic Republic of Congo's southern opposition stronghold of Kasai have left nine people dead. Local administrator Jacopo Pembe Longo today said, the anti-government Kamwina Nsapu militia killed four people yesterday in the village of Bata Ishama in Kasai province. <br/><br/>Longo said, the same militia, today killed five other people in Kakenge, a village some 12 kilometres from Bata Ishama. The fighters had also set fire to a hospital and more than 30 houses.
