In Uttar Pradesh, nine persons, including women and children have drowned in a boat capsize in Jhansi. The boat was carrying the pilgrims in Betwa river in Airach area this morning , when the tragedy struck them. The victims were going to offer 'chaadar' at Meer Shah's Mazaar. A senior police official said in Jhansi that five persons were rescued by the locals.
