In Tamil Nadu, nine AIADMK members were suspended from the state assembly for the rest of the ongoing assembly session for unruly behavior during the governor’s address on Friday last. Soon after the house began its proceedings this morning, the Leader of the House and Finance minister Mr. K.Anbhazagan moved a resolution seeking to suspend the 9 members for disrupting the proceedings. Protesting against the suspension members of the AIADMK and its allies, the MDMK, CPI and CPM staged a walkout. They later returned to the house and sought to raise the issue during zero hour. The whip of the AIADMK party Mr. Sengotayan urged the speaker to review the suspension order. Responding to the plea, the speaker Mr. Avudaiappan said the request will be considered. Unrelenting the AIADMK members continued to indulge in slogan shouting after which they staged a walkout for the second time.
