The National Inspection and Monitoring Committee, NIMC team has sealed 5 clinics along with 5 ultrasound machines in Nayagarah and Bhubaneswar districts of Odisha for violations under the PC and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques, PNDT Act.A Union Health Ministry release says, the NIMC team undertook surprise inspections of clinics and their facilities offering ultrasound diagnostic services from 19th to 20th of this month. The team visited a total of six facilities in these two districts and undertook verification of equipment and examination of records valid under PC and PNDT Act.
