Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen will meet Thailand's Jitpong Jutamas in the flyweight final of the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships in Istanbul tonight at 8.45 P.M. If Zareen wins the final against Jutamas, she will become the second Indian boxer after the legendary Mary Kom to win a gold medal at World Championships.
In the 52-kg semi-final bout yesterday, the Nizamabad-born boxer, Nikhat, who is playing her only second World Championships, pulled off a comprehensive 5-0 win against Brazil's Caroline De Almeida.
Jutamas stunned the two-time World Championships medallist Kazakh boxer Zhaina Shekerbekova 4-1 in the semi-final.
