Night landing facility at Shirdi Airport in Maharashtra becomes operational

<span style="color: #222222;">The night landing facility at Shirdi Airport in Maharashtra became operational for the first time since yesterday. The airport had received approval from DGCA for a night landing in February this year. The first flight of Indigo Airlines from New Delhi with 211 passengers onboard landed at Shirdi Airport at 8.10 pm yesterday. The same aircraft took off from the airport for Delhi at 9 pm. After the successful testing of night landing regular service is expected to begin within the next 15-20 days according to airport sources. The first flight received an overwhelming response from passengers and due to the night landing facility, the passengers visiting Shirdi will be able to complete their Shirdi tour in one single day and boost local tourism in Shirdi.</span><br />
