Night curfew being imposed in Indore and Bhopal from today amid spike in COVID-19 cases

<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, night curfew is being imposed in Indore and Bhopal from today after both cities have witnessed a spike in Covid cases in the last few weeks. The covid positivity rate stands at 5.2 percent.  AIR Correspondent reports that Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday reported 817 covid positive cases while 554 patients recovered from infection. Indore reported 264 new cases while Bhopal reported  196 fresh cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />'' The Home Department in its instructions said that all shops and other business establishments will remain closed from 10 pm to 6 am in Bhopal and Indore. This ban will not be applicable on chemists, ration and catering shops. All non-essential traffic will be closed, only essential services will be allowed to travel to and from the hospital, airport, railway station and bus stand.<br />'' <br />'' Prior permission of administration will have to be obtained for organizing any event involving more than a hundred persons. Effective action is being taken against persons not wearing masks. </span>
